Take phendimetrazine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. This may differ depending on which type of phendimetrazine you have been given. If you are unsure ask your doctor or pharmacist to clarify this for you.
Normally for patients taking Phendimetrazine 35mg you will be instructed to take your medication 2-3 times daily, 1 hr before meal times and with a glass of water.
Your doctor may consider that 17.5mg would be sufficent for you and you may be instructed to split your tablets.
Patients on slow release versions will need to take their pill only once a day, in the morning 1 hour before breakfast.
Never crush, chew or open the slow release capsules as they will not work as intended. Swallow them whole with a glass of water.
Your body may develop tolerance to Phendimetrazine and you may find that it becomes less effective for you. Consult your doctor if you think you have become tolerant and are no longer seeing results.
