As with all medications you may experience some side effects whilst taking phendimetrazine.
Seek medical attention immediately if you develop any of the symptoms described below:
- an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, closing of your throat, swelling of your lips, tongue, or face, or hives)
- an irregular heartbeat or very high blood pressure (severe headache, blurred vision)
- hallucinations, abnormal behavior or confusion
If any of the following less serious side effects occur continue to phendimetrazine as normal and consult your doctor:
- unusual restlessness or tremor
- nervousness or anxiety
- headache or feelings of dizziness
- insomnia
- flushing
- dry or unpleasant tasting mouth
- constipation or diarrhea
- changes in your sex drive or impotence
Phendimetrazine may cause dizziness, blurred vision, or restlessness, and it may hide the symptoms of extreme tiredness. Be cautiously when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities. If you experience any of these effects refrain from all hazardous activities.
