Do not take phendimetrazine if you have any of the following:

  • advanced arteriosclerosis (hardening of the veins)
  • heart disease or high blood pressure Moderate or severe hypertension
  • glaucoma
  • a history of drug abuse
  • have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), tranylcypromine (Parnate), or phenelzine (Nardil) in the last 14 days; or

Before taking Phendimetrazine tell your doctor if you suffer from any of the following:

  • thyroid problems
  • anxiety
  • epilepsy or another seizure disorder
  • diabetes
